About This Automation
Medical record requests arrive through multiple channels and require identity verification, authorization checks, manual chart compilation, and line by line redaction before anything can be released.
An automated version watches incoming request channels, confirms authorization is on file, assembles and redacts the relevant chart sections, and delivers the finished document through a secure portal with the log updated automatically.
Key features:
Detects incoming record requests from shared inboxes, fax, and patient portal submissions automatically
Verifies requester identity and matches it against authorization records on file
Assembles requested chart sections into a single document for the specified date range
Flags or redacts information outside the authorized release scope before delivery
Delivers finished records through a secure, access-controlled portal with a notification
Updates the tracking log with status and fulfillment date without manual entry
