Question 1

What manual tasks around Univid webinars can I automate?

Accepted Answer

You can automate sending webinar invitations to contact lists, updating registration records when attendees sign up, and collecting attendee data post-webinar into your CRM or database. Workflows can also trigger follow-up actions based on attendance status or engagement level during the webinar. Since Univid webinars can be created quickly, automation is most useful for handling the repetitive work of promotion, data capture, and downstream follow-ups rather than webinar creation itself.

Question 2

How does attendee data from Univid connect to other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Univid generates attendee records including registration details, attendance status, and engagement metrics that can be extracted and sent to CRMs, spreadsheets, email platforms, or analytics tools via automation. Data typically flows out from Univid after a webinar concludes or when attendees register, allowing you to sync those records with your other systems in near real-time. The specific data fields available depend on what Univid captures and what your integration platform can map to your destination tools.

Question 3

What breaks or causes problems when automating Univid workflows?

Accepted Answer

Mismatched field mappings between Univid data and your destination system can cause records to land incomplete or in the wrong format. Timing issues can occur if automation triggers before Univid has finished processing attendee data, resulting in missing or partial records. Registration versus attendance data can also be confused in workflows, leading to follow-up actions sent to the wrong segment of your contact list.

Question 4

How should I structure Univid webinars so automations work reliably?

Accepted Answer

Use consistent naming conventions for webinars so you can reliably filter and route data in automations. Ensure your Univid account captures all the data fields you need to pass downstream, such as custom registration questions or attendance duration. Test your automation with a small webinar first to confirm data flows correctly before running it at scale with larger contact lists.
