Question 1

What manual tasks can I automate when Twise is collecting visitor data on my website?

Accepted Answer

When Twise engages anonymous visitors and converts them to contacts, you can automate downstream actions like adding those new contacts to your CRM, triggering welcome communications, assigning them to team members, or logging the interaction in your records system. Instead of manually copying visitor information or creating records after a Twise conversation, automations can pass that data directly to your other business tools in real-time.

Question 2

How does data flow from Twise into my other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Twise captures visitor information during conversations and can send that data to connected platforms through webhooks or API integrations. New contact details, conversation summaries, and interaction metadata move from Twise into your CRM, database, or other systems as records are created or updated. The data structure and field mapping depend on how your automation platform connects Twise to your destination tool.

Question 3

What breaks when automating around Twise if contact information is incomplete or malformed?

Accepted Answer

If Twise collects visitor data with missing email addresses, phone numbers, or other required fields, downstream automations may fail to create records or trigger correctly in your CRM or database. Additionally, if Twise captures data in an unexpected format or the visitor provides conflicting information during the conversation, automated field mapping can produce corrupted or unusable records. Testing your automation with sample incomplete data and setting up error handling rules helps catch these issues early.

Question 4

How should I structure Twise on my website so that automations capture consistent data?

Accepted Answer

Configure Twise to ask for specific, required information in a consistent order during every conversation, so the data structure remains predictable for your automations. Map Twise output fields directly to the corresponding fields in your downstream tools (CRM, database, forms) and test that sample conversations produce records with all necessary data. Document your Twise configuration and field mappings so that automations stay aligned if you later change the agent's questions or behavior.
