Question 1

What manual work around Seidat can be automated?

Accepted Answer

You can automate the distribution of completed decks to recipients, the extraction of deck content or metadata into databases for tracking, and the triggering of follow-up actions based on presentation metrics. For example, when a deck is shared with a contact, you can automatically log that event to your CRM, or when a deck receives viewer engagement data, you can automatically create a task or send a notification to the relevant team member. This reduces manual data entry and ensures presentation activity feeds into your broader business processes without gaps.

Question 2

How does data flow between Seidat and other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Seidat can receive data through webhooks or API connections, allowing you to push contact information, presentation topics, or metadata into deck creation workflows. Conversely, data flows out of Seidat through analytics exports or event triggers, which can be captured and sent to CRM platforms, email tools, or analytics systems. The most common pattern is receiving contact lists to populate recipient fields, and exporting viewing metrics or completion status to track engagement alongside other business data.

Question 3

What breaks when automating around Seidat?

Accepted Answer

Automations often fail when deck sharing permissions are not properly configured, preventing external contacts from accessing shared links. Viewing analytics may not sync in real time, causing delays in downstream notifications or tasks. Additionally, if a deck is deleted or archived, automated workflows referencing that deck ID may break without warning. Test data mapping carefully before scaling automations, especially when syncing recipient lists, to avoid sending decks to incorrect contacts.

Question 4

How should we structure Seidat to support reliable automations?

Accepted Answer

Organize decks using consistent naming conventions and folder structures so they can be reliably identified and triggered by automated processes. Establish a standard template library and use the same presentation format across your team to reduce friction in data extraction. Assign clear ownership of each deck and define which events (sharing, viewing, completion) should trigger downstream actions before building automations. Document your webhook endpoints and API keys securely, and test all integrations in a staging environment first.
