Question 1

What manual work can I automate after Sally transcribes a meeting?

Accepted Answer

Sally transcribes meetings and generates summaries automatically, which removes the manual work of listening back to recordings or writing notes by hand. From there, you can automate the transfer of extracted action items, decisions, and key points directly into your task management, CRM, or document tools, eliminating copy-paste work. You can also trigger downstream workflows like assigning tasks to team members, updating contact records, or creating follow-up reminders based on what Sally identified in the meeting.

Question 2

How does Sally get meeting data into my other tools?

Accepted Answer

Sally captures the meeting transcription and creates a summary, then passes this structured data to connected platforms through API connections. When you connect Sally to your task manager, CRM, or note-taking app, the transcription, summary, and extracted tasks can be formatted and sent to the right location automatically. The data flow is one-directional from Sally outward, so your other tools receive the meeting intelligence without Sally pulling data back.

Question 3

What are common problems when automating around Sally?

Accepted Answer

Sally relies on audio quality to produce accurate transcriptions, so poor meeting sound, background noise, or multiple overlapping speakers can degrade both the transcript and the summary. Task extraction may miss action items if they are stated ambiguously or buried in long discussions, which can result in incomplete automation of follow-ups. Additionally, if your connected tool requires specific data formats or field structures, mismatches between Sally's output format and your tool's input requirements can cause tasks or notes to fail to load correctly.

Question 4

How should I organize Sally workflows so automations run reliably?

Accepted Answer

Set clear meeting naming conventions and calendar configurations so Sally can consistently identify which meetings to process and where to route the output. Define specific fields or tags in your connected tools where Sally should push summaries and tasks, and ensure those destinations are prepared to receive structured data. Test the automation with a sample meeting first to catch any data format mismatches or routing errors before rolling it out across your team.
