Question 1

What manual tasks can I automate when using Knorish?

Accepted Answer

You can automate student enrollment confirmation, course access provisioning, and follow-up communication sequences triggered by course signup or completion. You can also automate the transfer of student data and engagement metrics from Knorish to your CRM, email platform, or analytics tools, removing the need to manually export and re-input course progress information. Funnel stage transitions and sales activities can be automated based on which courses or products customers view or purchase through your Knorish funnels.

Question 2

How does data flow between Knorish and other tools in my automation?

Accepted Answer

Knorish sends student enrollment data, course completion records, and customer purchase information to connected platforms through webhooks or API connections. Incoming contact records and customer data can be pushed from your CRM or database into Knorish to populate student profiles or trigger funnel actions. Most integrations move data in real-time when events occur, such as new course signups or payment completion, though you should verify your automation platform's sync frequency and any rate limits with Knorish's API documentation.

Question 3

What breaks when automating with Knorish?

Accepted Answer

Automations can fail if course IDs or product codes change without updating your connected workflows. Duplicate student records may occur if enrollment data syncs from multiple sources without proper deduplication logic. Payment or funnel stage data sometimes arrives out of order, causing automations to trigger prematurely or miss important conditions. Additionally, if Knorish webhooks are misconfigured or your automation platform loses connection, enrollment events may not transmit to downstream tools, leaving records incomplete.

Question 4

How should I structure my Knorish courses and funnels for reliable automation?

Accepted Answer

Use consistent, unchanging product and course identifiers throughout your funnels to prevent automation breaks when tools reference those codes. Segment your courses and funnel stages clearly so automation rules can distinguish between different pathways and trigger the correct downstream actions. Document your funnel structure and the data fields Knorish exports, especially custom fields, so your automation platform can map data correctly. Test your entire integration end-to-end, from funnel entry through course completion, before running automations against real student traffic.
