Question 1

What manual tasks can I automate when using indemandly?

Accepted Answer

You can automate the transfer of conversation data from indemandly into your CRM or database, route incoming messages to the right team members based on content or sender, and trigger follow-up actions like email campaigns or task creation when contacts engage through indemandly. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures conversations feed directly into your existing business processes.

Question 2

How does indemandly share contact and conversation data with other tools?

Accepted Answer

indemandly can pass visitor information, message content, and conversation metadata to external platforms through API connections or webhooks. When a contact messages you through indemandly on your website or social channels, that data can flow into your CRM, email platform, or helpdesk tool so you have a complete record without re-entering information manually.

Question 3

What problems occur when automating workflows that depend on indemandly data?

Accepted Answer

Delays in message delivery or webhook triggers can cause conversations to arrive in downstream tools out of order or incomplete, especially during high-volume periods. If indemandly connection settings are misconfigured, contact details may not map correctly to fields in your CRM, resulting in duplicate or malformed records. Always test your automation with real incoming messages before relying on it in production.

Question 4

How should I organize indemandly channels and contacts to support automation?

Accepted Answer

Establish clear naming conventions for indemandly channels (website, social media platform, etc.) and configure contact fields consistently so incoming data maps predictably to your downstream tools. Use indemandly's tagging or grouping features to categorize conversations by type or source, which makes it easier to trigger different automated workflows based on those attributes.
