The system continuously checks expiration dates against a configurable threshold (e.g., 14 days before expiry) and flags items for first-out rotation or removal.

Expiration warnings and inventory level changes are sent to the warehouse team and production planners, ensuring they always see current stock status.

Every batch movement, update, and alert is recorded with timestamp and user, creating a complete compliance audit trail for recalls and regulatory reviews.
