About This Automation

Quality control and compliance in contract manufacturing requires inspecting finished batches, running lab tests, and documenting results against regulatory standards.

Automation captures inspection findings in real time, auto-populates compliance checklists, and generates audit-ready documentation. Batches move from inspection to release decision within hours instead of days.

Key features
Capture inspection findings digitally during physical inspection with guided workflows
Auto-populate compliance checklists by cross-referencing test data against regulatory requirements
Eliminate manual data entry and transcription errors between lab results and compliance records
Generate audit-ready documentation and compliance reports automatically
Flag out-of-spec results and missing documents in real time for immediate action

How The Automation Works

The full workflow, from trigger to completion.

1. Batch Completion Detectedtrigger

Production system or supervisor notification triggers the QC workflow. The batch ID, product code, and completion timestamp are captured.

2. Send Inspection Form to Inspector

An automated form link is sent to the assigned QC inspector via email or, pre-populated with batch details and specification requirements.

3. QC Inspection

Guides inspector through digital inspection checklist, captures photos or measurements, and logs findings in real time. Physical inspection still happens; data capture is automated.

4. Retrieve Lab Test Results

Lab equipment or test management system automatically exports test results (tensile, chemical, durability) and sends them to the workflow.

5. Compliance Validation

Cross-references inspection data and test results against regulatory requirements, auto-populates compliance checklist, and flags any missing or out-of-spec values.

6. All Checks Pass?

System evaluates whether inspection, tests, and compliance all meet requirements. If yes, batch is approved. If no, batch is flagged for review.

7. Generate Audit Report and Archive

Automated report is created with all inspection, test, and compliance data, digitally signed, and stored in a compliant archive. PDF is generated for audit trail.

8. Notify Production

Automated message is sent to production team with batch status (approved or hold), reason, and next steps. Batch record is updated in the production system.
