Question 1

What call data can I pull from Voxloud to use in other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Voxloud call tracking systems typically expose call metadata such as caller phone number, call duration, call timestamp, and call outcome (connected, missed, voicemail). This data can be extracted and sent to CRM systems, spreadsheets, or custom databases to create records, trigger workflows, or generate reports. The specific fields available depend on your Voxloud setup and any API or integration features your instance supports.

Question 2

Can I automate actions when someone calls my Voxloud number?

Accepted Answer

Yes, call events from Voxloud such as incoming calls, missed calls, or call completions can trigger automated workflows in other platforms. For example, an incoming call can create a new contact record, send a notification to a team member, or log the call in a shared database. The automation capability depends on whether Voxloud offers webhooks, API access, or native integrations with your chosen automation platform.

Question 3

What happens if Voxloud stops recording or transmitting call data to my connected tools?

Accepted Answer

If call data stops flowing from Voxloud to your connected tools, automations that depend on that data will not trigger, and you may miss opportunities to log or follow up on calls. Connection failures can occur due to authentication token expiration, network issues, or changes to Voxloud API settings. Monitor integration logs regularly and set up error alerts so your team is notified if data transmission breaks.

Question 4

How should I structure my Voxloud account to make automations reliable?

Accepted Answer

Ensure your Voxloud phone numbers and call routing are configured consistently before connecting automations, as changes to phone number assignment or routing rules can cause automations to fire unexpectedly or stop working. If you use multiple phone numbers or departments, map each to its own automation workflow to avoid mixed or misdirected data. Test the connection between Voxloud and your automation platform in a sandbox environment first to confirm call events are being captured correctly before rolling out to production.
