Question 1

What manual work can I automate by connecting Tactiq to other tools?

Accepted Answer

You can automate the distribution and processing of meeting transcripts after Tactiq generates them. Common automations include sending transcripts to document storage systems, extracting action items and routing them to task management tools, forwarding transcripts to team members or external contacts automatically, and logging transcript data into records systems for future reference. This removes the need to manually copy, paste, or forward transcripts after each meeting ends.

Question 2

How does data flow between Tactiq and other business tools when I set up an automation?

Accepted Answer

When you connect Tactiq to another tool, the transcript data and extracted content (such as action items or key points) flow outward from Tactiq after a meeting is recorded and processed. Your automation platform reads this data through Tactiq's available outputs and sends it to the connected tool, where it can populate fields, create records, or trigger downstream actions. The direction is one-way: data moves from Tactiq to your other tools based on meeting events.

Question 3

What common issues should I watch for when automating with Tactiq?

Accepted Answer

Ensure Tactiq has finished transcribing and processing the meeting before your automation attempts to pull data, as premature triggers can result in incomplete or missing content. Verify that action items and key points are properly extracted and formatted before routing them downstream, since transcript accuracy depends on audio quality and speaker clarity. Test that your connected tool can accept the data structure Tactiq outputs, and confirm meeting recordings are accessible to Tactiq so transcription occurs consistently.

Question 4

How should I organize my Tactiq usage to make automations work reliably?

Accepted Answer

Standardize how you name and tag meetings in Tactiq so automations can identify and route the right transcripts to the correct destinations. Configure consistent meeting structures and participant setups so extracted data remains predictable across different automation runs. Store your Tactiq credentials and connection details securely in your automation platform, and regularly test your end-to-end workflow to catch any changes in how Tactiq outputs data.
