Question 1

Can I automate saving my Notud notes to other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Notud's primary automation opportunity is routing handwritten notes from your tablet or iPad into records within other platforms. When you complete a note in Notud, you can trigger automated workflows that capture that content and attach it to the corresponding record in your business system. This removes the manual step of copying or re-entering note content across tools, though note formatting and image quality depend on Notud's export capabilities.

Question 2

How does data flow between Notud and other applications?

Accepted Answer

Notud stores notes in client files in the cloud, making them accessible to automation platforms that can pull note data via API or webhook integration. Data flows outward from Notud when you trigger actions like sending a completed note to a CRM, document system, or database. The connection works best when Notud's integration maps notes to a specific record or contact identifier so the receiving tool knows where to file the information.

Question 3

What happens if I write notes offline in Notud, and will that break automations?

Accepted Answer

Notud saves notes to the cloud instantly when you are online, but if you write while offline, notes sync once your connection returns. Automations typically trigger after notes are saved to Notud's cloud system, so offline notes may experience a delay before downstream workflows activate. Test your automation timing if offline note-taking is common in your workflow.

Question 4

How should I organize my Notud client files so automations route notes correctly?

Accepted Answer

Structure your client files with consistent naming conventions and clear hierarchies before setting up automations, since most integrations route notes based on matching file names or IDs to records in other tools. Automations rely on finding the right destination, so scattered or inconsistent file organization can cause notes to be routed to the wrong place. Establish your file structure and naming pattern first, then build automations around that framework.
