Question 1

What manual work can I automate with Meetgeek.ai?

Accepted Answer

You can automate the distribution and routing of call transcripts and notes to other systems after a meeting ends. For example, automatically send meeting summaries to your CRM, project management tool, or document storage platform, or route specific types of meetings to different team members or folders based on meeting title or attendees. This eliminates manual copying, pasting, and forwarding of call data after each meeting.

Question 2

How does data flow between Meetgeek.ai and other business tools?

Accepted Answer

Meetgeek.ai generates transcripts, notes, and highlights after a call ends, which can be pulled via API or workflow connectors into other platforms. Data typically flows out from Meetgeek.ai (transcript text, meeting metadata, key highlights, attendee information) to receiving systems like CRMs, task managers, or document databases. The data is usually available within minutes of call completion and can be mapped to specific fields in your destination tool.

Question 3

What breaks or gets missed when automating Meetgeek.ai workflows?

Accepted Answer

Automations may fail if calls are not recorded or if Meetgeek.ai does not have permission to access the meeting (check that the app is installed and enabled in your meeting platform). Transcript quality and accuracy can vary based on audio clarity and accents, which may cause downstream data to be incomplete or require manual review. Additionally, if your meeting platform has privacy or permission restrictions, Meetgeek.ai may not capture or share certain meeting details.

Question 4

How should I set up Meetgeek.ai so automations run reliably?

Accepted Answer

Ensure Meetgeek.ai is installed and has recording permissions in your meeting platform before creating automations. Test a few real meetings to confirm that transcripts and notes are generated consistently and contain the data you need to send downstream. Set clear naming conventions or tags for meetings so automations can route them correctly, and verify that your destination systems have matching field structures to receive Meetgeek.ai data without errors.
