Question 1

What types of documents can I automate printing with ezeep Blue?

Accepted Answer

ezeep Blue automates printing of labels, checks, packing slips, reports, and other document types across any business purpose. When connected to other tools, you can trigger automated printing workflows whenever specific events occur, such as when a new record is created, a status changes, or data meets certain conditions. This eliminates manual print jobs and reduces the need for staff to handle printing tasks.

Question 2

How does data flow from my other business tools into ezeep Blue printing?

Accepted Answer

Data flows into ezeep Blue through automation connections that pull information from your source systems, format it according to your document templates, and send it to ezeep Blue for printing. The data typically includes fields like names, addresses, amounts, order details, or other content that gets merged into your print templates. ezeep Blue then routes the formatted documents to the appropriate printer based on your workflow rules.

Question 3

What issues should I watch for when automating ezeep Blue printing?

Accepted Answer

Common problems include template formatting mismatches when data fields don't align with your print layout, printer availability or offline status causing failed print jobs, and data quality issues where incomplete or incorrectly formatted records reach the print step. Test automations with sample data before deploying to production, and monitor the first batches of automated prints to catch formatting or routing errors early.

Question 4

How should I structure my ezeep Blue setup so automations work reliably?

Accepted Answer

Set up printer groups and naming conventions that match your workflow logic, create clear document templates with properly labeled fields that align with your data sources, and establish fallback rules for when primary printers are unavailable. Document which print templates correspond to which business events or record types, and maintain a mapping between your source data fields and template placeholders to ensure automations reference the correct information.
