How The Automation Works

1. Deliverable marked ready for reviewtrigger

Automation detects when a deliverable status changes to 'Ready for Review' or when a submission email arrives with a specific tag or keyword.

2. Extract deliverable metadata

Automation reads the deliverable title, type, submitter, and any linked files or repository. It retrieves the review checklist and required reviewer roles from a stored template.

3. Identify and assign reviewers

Automation queries a reviewer database (stored or a custom lookup) to find available reviewers matching the required expertise and role. It assigns the first available reviewer and sends a notification.

4. Send review request to reviewer

Automation sends a message or email to the assigned reviewer with a direct link to the deliverable, the review checklist, and a deadline. The message includes context and any special instructions.

5. Monitor review progress

Automation tracks whether the reviewer has acknowledged the request and begun work. If no progress is detected within 24 hours, a reminder is automatically sent.

6. Collect and consolidate feedback
